Implementing Off Shift in Work Schedules

edited Mar 4, 2021 8:44AM in Workforce Management 6 comments

Summary

Need a way to implement off shift in work schedules.

Content

As per now, I have found two ways to make off days for employees. For example, Employee X is an employee who gets a day off work every Wednesday.

1. I can create Work Workday Pattern of 7 days and put Regular Shift in Day 1-2 and Day 4-7.

2. I can put every Wednesday in Resource Exception (this one is not feasible because I literally have to define all Wednesdays as Off Period)

I need to be able to define Off as a specific Shift to make it easier to calculate things like overtime, but I was not able to create a shift with zero duration.

Howdy, Stranger!
