Change Legal Entity name in a way that historical name is preserved for it. Enable date-track change
Summary
Legal Entity screen should be date-track enabled.Content
Dear All,
We recently got a requirement from one of our clients to change the name of the legal entity from A to X from a certain date. This requirement was to align the real world process that they undertook to change the registered name of the company.
However, there were two challenges we faced from the system functionality perspective.
1. The legal entity name is not a date-track enabled screen. It means that the changes to the screen data cannot be preserved with reference to the date of the change. It supports only the correction mode.
