Loading Historical timecard data

In order to support prior period time adjustments, customer is looking to load 2 years worth of timecard data as part of T&L implementation which are around 2M rows. Customer is not implementing Cloud Payroll and the time data is extracted and sent to 3rd party payroll system. Have anyone attempted loading timecard data for such large volume? If so, any recommendations or considerations based on your experience?
