Delay in updating the Substitution Variable Value to Narrative Reporting

We have several MR reports in Narrative Reporting with a substitution variable (EPBCS) as default value in prompts,  every time we change the sub var value in EPBCS there seems to be more than 15 min delay in updating the value to narrative reporting.

Please confirm the exact time it takes for the new subvar value to be updated.
