How to make the selected row in list view be highlighted even after performing an event/action

Hi,

I am selecting a record in the list view the selected record is highlighted and then clicking on a button and opening a dialog and updating the details and saving it. In the save event I am also refreshing the list data using fire data provider.

But after that in the list view I am not able to see the record which I selected as highlighted.

So what can I do to make the selected record be highlighted after performing the above actions.
