Get full system configuration bom

Hi,

Is there a way to get the full BoM while configuring a system configuration? I can use getsystemdata(); but that does not give me the full bom of the parent model. It only gives me the variable name, but I would like to get the part number and the quantity.

getbom() only gives me the values saved in commerce, but not the last updated bom in the configuration.

any other ideas?
