Limit the alias length to 80 characters using data management

Hi Experts,

Is there any way to limit the alias length to 80 characters using data management. For an example, when loading the vendor dimension, usually members of this dimension contains very lengthy aliases which often exceeds 100 characters. Client doesn't interested in limiting the length in source but interested to do it in data management when loading the data. is this possible using DM mappings or using another DM function?
