How do you manage the reassignment of self paced courses to learners who failed the first time?

Hi All

I just wondered how everyone else manages the re-assignment of self-paced courses to learners who failed? Have you found a way to automate the process?

We've been advised we should be resetting the learning activity, but as far I can tell, this can only be done manually.
