Formulas with a -1 at end do not work

When trying to write a formula where there is a -1 at the end, I get the message that is attached.  Does anyone else have this issue and how is it resolved?  For the moment, I have re-written all my formulas as a workaround.

 

This is the formulas I'm trying to use:  ([C,6]/[A,6])-1
