Oracle search based Global Search missing some people in search results

We have enabled the Oracle Search-Based Global Search through controlled availability, and have noticed that the search is missing people that have a transaction effective date of "tomorrow" (date after you are doing the search). 

The search will find this same person when you are searching the day of the effective date of their employment transaction or if the transaction is several days in the future.  This is only an issue since we have enabled the Oracle Search-Based Global search.  We followed all instructions in the setup guide for this feature, but is there a chance there is a scheduled process we need to run to prevent this issue?
