Is it Feasible to Open Project Period without opening GL

Our Business has missed out opening the Project Period from DEC-20, the GL periods were opened and closed and the latest GL period open is Mar -21. Is it feasible to open the Project period without opening the GL periods.

In EBS i hope there was an option to open the entire years Project Period do we have similar option in Cloud
