Multiple errors returned from Learn API

Hi.

We have just implemented a new process which uses the Learn API to sync staff data from our HR database to the Learn application.

We're finding that we are getting a number of errors returned by the API, and the majority of them are one of the following:

• The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
• The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. 

Although this is happening for a selection of different API calls, the majority of them seem to be related to either deleting or updating custom fields values associated with a user.
