Calendar and Excel Popups vs lower left download

Is there a way for the downloaded items to pop up instead of appear in the lower left corner of the screen?

When you click to Add to Calendar, a minimized window appears in the lower left corner instead of it popping up visibly on the screen

Similarly, when you click to extract the Learner page, Catalog page, etc. into an Excel workbook, that appears in the lower left corner instead of it popping up visibly on the screen.

Is there a setting (similar to the code used in SharePoint) that will cause that to open broadly vs just a lower left corner minimized window?
