Combine Model if it is added repeatedly

Hi Gurus,

I have created a recommended item rule, this will add model and the parts associated to it. If the agent by mistake selects add line item and chooses the same model and parts and returns to transaction, is there a way to combine the existing model parts with the newly created model and parts.
