Absence Approvals Email Issue on Iphone

Has anyone experienced the Absence approval notifications on the iphone showing as a really long html link versus the approval template that shows the Approve/Reject screen?
For example if the employee has their work email set up in the iphone under Settings > Mail > Accounts then the work email absence approval notifications come in links that do not display the buttons for approve or reject they show as links.
If the employees have the Outlook App where their work emails are going then the Absence approval template is working fine with the Green and Red buttons
Has anyone experienced this and if so please let me know if you were able to fix this and how. I'm thinking is an iphone update but not sure.
