Attachment feature in request time change

Hi,
we have a requirement where employee will need to attach a document/picture as evidence when they create a request time change to do a attendance correction or other time requests. When I tried this feature, I only see comment field when I add/edit a time entry. But is there a workaround so that employee is able to attachment any evidence? We are not able to use Attestations feature because we need employee to add evidence during the request not after that for manager to approve/reject it.
Currently I already raise an idea regarding attachment feature, please up vote if you feel that this feature is useful for customers
