What is the significance of 'General Preferences: Oracle WebCenter Portal'

Summary

What is the significance of 'General Preferences: Oracle WebCenter Portal'

Content

We have a requirement from business, where in they are looking to change the font size at individual level using 'Set Preferences'. Under 'Accessibility Settings' we don't see a option to change the font size.

However, under 'General Preferences: Oracle WebCenter Portal' (Navigation: Settings and Action > Set Preferences > General Preferences > Oracle WebCenter Portal) we get a option to change the font size, but the same is not reflecting in the application even if we keep the Application skin as 'Fusion FX'.

Can anybody help me with the significance of 'General Preferences: Oracle WebCenter Portal' (where and how it is used!) and along with that is there any option to change the font size from preferences for individuals?

Howdy, Stranger!
