Can the Absence Accrual Term change dates every year?

Hello all,

I currently have a requirement where the accrual term changes every year.  It differs from the usual anniversary in that this year the date could be 12/26, next year the date could be 12/30.  It aligns with the payroll calendar which changes.

Obviously we can continually update the formula to either manually change the date every year or have it pull the payroll calendar date.  The issue is, even though I am able to change the date, it does not feel like best practice and I am not sure of what issues we may face with this.

Any thoughts and inputs on this topic is greatly appreciated
