Overtime approvals as Absence Type

Hi,

We are decomissioning e-days and implementing HCM Absence Mgmt. Apparently e-days offers the functionality to track/approve overtime, since our goal is to decomission e-days, we are trying to find a work around. (Unfortunately we do not have Time and Labor)

The requirement is as follows :

Employee can book max 4 hrs during weekdays (per day)

Employee can book max 12 hrs during weekend (per day)

I am thinking of ways to implement this. If i create a single absence type and enable booking weekends, how would i enforce the duration limit based on week days or weekend?

If i create two absence types (one for weekdays and one for weekend), how would i prevent users from booking a weekday for the weekend absence type?

Howdy, Stranger!
