Unknown members on a Smart View ad-hoc grid in Standard mode

Hi Everyone,

I've come across an issue where the client wants to create and ad-hoc grid and  paste hundreds of rows with members from a different sheet and input data against them. The problem is that if there is an unknown member on the grid which is not present in the outline, then instead of throwing an error or highlighting the row differently, the row picks up a valid member from the row above and successfully refreshes. 

This makes it very difficult to identify the impacted row from hundreds of lines.
