Create project in Grants Management with mandatory DFF in project template

If I have mandatory DFFs in the project module that have to be filled out when creating a new project, is it possible to create a project from the grants management module?

I have mandatory dffs when creating a project in the project management module. When creating a project with the "create from template" function in the grants management module (selected when creating a new grant), there is an error message that prevents me from creating a new project:

You must enter a value set value. A new project or project template cant be created because of an application error. Contact your help desk.
