Project Class Categories - Update "Assign to all projects" and "Assign to all project types" checkboxes


Setup and Maintenance > Project Financial Management > Project Foundation > Manage Project Class Categories

Our "Grants Fund Source" is assigned to all projects and project types. We would like to be able to change the initial setup by unselecting the associated checkboxes.

After go-live, it was determined we need to have four different project types and associated project templates

  1. Grants - billing
  2. Cost Share - no billing
  3. Internal Tracking - billing
  4. Capital Projects - capitalization

Each of these project types has a different set of fund sources and we would like to create separate project class categories with an exclusive list for each project type. However, the original Grants Fund Source project class category is associated with every project type and is an option for every project because it is automatically assigned to all project templates.
