Summary

We want to apply a CX Commerce item discount on the external price got from external pricing engine.

On add to cart we call the external price interface and get the external price for the products. We then want the item discount defined in CX commerce to be applied on the external price. Does this need a custom promotion (PMDL) or can be done via code on add to cart?
