Project Status Approval using application role

Trying to create a condition to auto-approve Project Status Approval change based on the submitter's application role

Hi,

Has anyone ever created a BPM rule for Project Status Approvals with a condition that checks the submitter's application role?  For example, if the submitter's application role is "Project Administrator" (ie. not project-specific) then auto-approve the status change.  Otherwise, route to a specific project role on the project.
