Transaction Console- What happens when transactions are recovered and/or terminated?

Summary

Looking to determine what happens to the transaction when it is recovered or terminated

Content

Hello,

In reviewing our Transaction Console, there are several transactions in failed, in progress or stuck status.

To address these, I am looking to find information on what happens when these transactions are recovered or terminated and what happens to them?

Before initiating any of these actions (recover or terminate), we need to know what occurs to them in the back end?

From reviewing Oracle support, it seems that terminate would move the transaction state to completed. But need confirmation on this.

Any information, direction or guidance on this would be much appreciated since more understanding is required on the Transaction Console.
