AR Transaction Types

Summary

Trying to Create the same TRX_TYPE NAME, and getting the error "A document sequence category code already exists with the same code name. Enter a different transaction type name (AR-857097)"

I have a requirement in AR

To create a same transaction type with multiple Data Access Sets.

When i tried to create the second one i am getting below error message:

 

"A document sequence category code already exists with this code name. Enter a different transaction type name. (AR-857097)"

 

So, i have followed the below work around.

Created transaction type, and deleted the document sequence category from "Manage Document Sequence Categories"
