Share page(s) across applications

We have 2 completely separate VBCS applications.  One of them is going to contain a set of  item catalog maintenance pages (i.e. search, view, create and edit).  Our other application needs to be able to search the same item catalog and we don't want to have to re-create the same search page in that second application.  Is there a simple way to share page(s) across applications?  As a specific use case, the second application would have to be able to search the item catalog using the first application and allow the user to select one or many items after searching which
