How to enable Preferred Name in Personal Details page

    Hello Pranay,

     

    You will need to add it in Person Name style. Follow navigation - Setup & maintenance > search > Manage person name styles.

    Select valid country and in details tab, add Known As attribute with Display name as Preferred Name.

    Thanks Akanksha for your help.

    Can you help on the processes name which needs to be run after changing Person Name Format for Display_Name for a particular Country it should reflect on the Home Page.

    And if we want to be reflect in Public Info or search by Preferred name through directory then what is the process?

    Hello Pranay,

     

    1. Add Known As in Person name format ( I think you have already added it in Display name so that is fine)

    2. Update Person index, run Update Person Search Keyword

    Preferred name is appearing correctly for employee. But when I am trying to search person by preferred name under My client group → person management. Then I am not able to search user by preferred name.
