Change Orders to Existing Order using FBDI

Want to explore any opportunity to make bulk updates to existing Purchase Orders

Currently, Purchase Orders can be imported using the POPurchaseOrderImportTemplate, however, it does not grant the ability to Update lines, only create new lines. As we look to make bulk updates to existing orders, we are trying to determine the best methodology do so. Is there any thought around updating this template to allow updates to existing lines? If not, is there any thoughts around creating a new FBDI template specifically for making updates to existing orders, such as a POChangeOrderImportTemplate? There is currently a Change Order template, but that appears to be for items and item revisions only.
