Custom email template for reminder mails

Hi all,

We are using human task 'Approve' to send mail to approvers with custom mail template.
There are 3 mail reminders at every 3rd day and want to show either in mail subject or in mail body that this is 1st notification or 2nd notification etc.

Tried using 'taskAgeFromCreatedDate' for this purpose but it does not give any value.

is there any way to achieve this, kindly suggest.
