Bulk import of files and apply metadata and asset type.

We have a HR website which holds records for multiple employees. So far about 4000. We are migrating this to CEC but have run into a small issue.

CEC is configured so each applicants details (stored as PDF) is attached to a asset type. We then add additional details, profile photo, DOB etc. The problem is this process is mandrolic. Is there any way we can import all 4000 files, have the system turn it into the asset type we need (ours is called EMP-ALL) and then apply the metadata (DOB, Name etc)?

I have a CSV file with all the data ready and the PDF files. Its just getting them into the system without having to do it one at a time.
