Sharing of values across alternate hierarchies

Our use case is largely for sharing of values across alternate hierarchies.  When properties are updated in the master it is expected to be updated in the shared node elsewhere.

Obviously EDM does things differently to DRM, it creates views from the master hierarchy – and those views can be populated by subscription via a node type converter.

However as far as I can ascertain and only playing with the app at this stage, once created these views are effectively orphaned from the master so changes don't cascade from the master to the views.  Additional entries can cascade by use of the node type convertor but deltas don't appear to easily do so.  Any advice about how to manage this would be useful please.
