Absence entries cannot be recorded for employees for whom assignment names were corrected manually

Hello,
As there is no automatic synchronization between assignment names (business title) and job titles, we check the mismatches periodically and correct the assignment names, Usually via HDL.
This time we corrected a few records manually, following this path: My Client Group->Quick actions->Employment Info->search for the employee->Employment History-> enter the last action in employment history->expand the Assignment section->Edit->correct the Business Title by copying the info from Job Title.
After making these corrections. none of the employees can record absences anymore, as the absence duration remains 0 and at submit the error sayimg hat absence duration must be greater than 0 pops up.
