Can the Oracle Management Reporting grid display data for the Essbase Text Data type

We are trying to determine whether data that has been entered into an ASO member with a Text Data Type can be displayed in a Management Reporting grid cell.  This is my first time attempting this and not sure if this is feasible.  I haven't found anything in the documentation that suggests this not a valid member data type.
