YearTotal in rolling budget

Hi 

We are configuring rolling budgets on a 12 month basis. 

So for most calculations, summation of 12 months value is needed. For static budget, we use "Yeartotal", so it is easy to get the summation of the values from there. 

But for rolling budget,Yeartotal functionality cannot be used. Ex: rolling period could be from Sep 2020 to Aug 2021. 

Without using @sumrange rules within rules, is there any other alternate solution for yeartotal which can be used in rolling budget too?
