Difference between Implement Date , Implement Quantity , Firm Date and Firm Quantity

Content

When releasing planned orders as work order or requisitions from supply planning you can edit fields Implement Date , Implement Quantity , Firm Date and Firm Quantity and override the default qty / date suggested by planning. What is the difference in the implement fields and the firm fields. There is also a firm status field to firm the release from planning so then why do we need firm qty and firm date fields if the firm status can firm the WO or Req released from planning and the fields implement date and implement qty can be used to override the default

Howdy, Stranger!
