Process to perform Inventory Adhoc Inspections via REST APIS

Looking for the right process or steps to perform Inventory Adhoc Inspections via REST APIS

Hi,

I am trying to do Adhoc Inspections for Inventory (with and without Inspection Plans) via REST APIs - this is the process I am following :

Please confirm if the following steps are correct :

1. Create Inspection Event using REST API

2. Get Characteristics Details via OTBI  ( there seems to be no REST/SOAP APIs to get the Characteristic details -not a problem since I can use         OTBI/OIC Integration to get the Inspection Characteristics details)
