OIC on-prem agent on Windows - sleeping?
Summary
OIC on-premises agent running on Windows looks successful but files are not deliveredContent
We have installed the OIC on-premises agent on a Windows server. Based on information found in the documentation Run the Connectivity Agent Installer as a Background Process on Linux Systems we start the agent and then disconnect from the remote desktop session, leaving the session running on the server. In general, this works.
There have been some times when OIC is showing the agent as "green", and the tracing for a test integration I have built shows the file was written successfully but the file is never written at the destination. As soon as we connected to the agent's Windows session, all of the previous test files were delivered at once. It's almost like the agent or the Windows session went into some kind of hibernation or sleep mode - even though OIC was reporting it as being available and working properly.
