Unable to correct Parent Position

Hello,

When trying to correct the Parent Position field in the position we are getting the following error "You Must Enter A Valid Value For The Manager ID Field". But when tried to update the position for the next day, we were able to change the Parent position. 

There is no manager synced in the position.

Please let us know if we are missing something.
