Classic UI Time Card - when will it be deactivated?

We are using the classic UI time card (not the responsive UI). We have department and program fields in the time card that will not work with the responsive UI as these two fields are part of the assignment level. The RUI expects these fields to be part of the person # level. If we converted to the RUI now, any employee with multiple assignments will see the program and department numbers for all assignments no matter which assignment they select on the line. 

Does anyone know when Oracle will provide additional functionality in new releases for the time card RUI or when Oracle may deactivate the classic UI?
