FSM Comparison shows discrepancies based on IDs

edited Aug 16, 2021 6:37AM in Workforce Management

Summary

SR 3-26729528621 : FSM Comparison shows discrepancies based on IDs

Content

FSM Comparison is a very good feature to compare setupd data between environments. However, the issue is, during comparison, the reports compare the internal IDs which is of no use, because the IDs will obviously be unique between instances, and the system should not pick them as discrepancies. It should not even list them as discrepancies in the report.

Example of the issue can be: We had exported at Absence functional area level from Prod Instance and uploaded in Config Instance for comparison.
Absence Plan: Showing Discrepancies based on Plan ID which are not real discrepancies as the data is accurate with respect to all the other attributes between both the environments.

Howdy, Stranger!
