Need to create dashboard prompts using sql query as the relevant subject areas for prompt data is not available

Content

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to have payroll period as a prompt in my dashboard based on which I need to display some non-payroll data.

The payroll period fields are present in subject areas like Payroll Run Results Real Time and Payroll Balances Real Time. But the period data is present only if the payroll is run for the period. The periods details are not present in these subject areas for the periods where the payroll is not run for any employees but are present in period details section in payroll definition setup.
