Summary

Absence balances are not getting deducted from current year balance for a cross leave year scenario

Content

We have a requirement absence duration should be deducted from the current year for a cross leave year scenario. If an employee has enough balance in the current year and applies leave for cross year (for ex., 27-12-2021 to 5-01-2022), then the entire balance should get deducted from the current year itself. Currently, if an employee adds an absence from 27-12-2021 to 5-01-2022, then duration from 27-12-2021 to 31-12-2021 will get deducted from current year balance and the duration from 01-01-2022 to 05-01-2022 will get duration from next year balance.
