Customer Application under CPQ is not working under Edge after promotion

We have a custom enhancement under Document Generator.  It was working under Edge internet browser until we deployed / promoted a new change.

There is no issue under Google Chrome after deployment / promotion.

We would like to know what causes this issue and how to fix it
