Create scheduled integration that will store logs file and instance trail only if any failure happen

We are looking for a solution to store faulted instance trail to file server along with diagnostic logs during the failure time so that at a later point in time the debugging can be performed and we have readily available logs and instance trail XML. Can we achieve this business requirement?

This needs to happen only during the faulted instance. This idea would be helpful in case the instance trail is purged and we cannot see the business data at every stage. Is this possible?
