Absences for Night Shift Employees

Summary:

In my current project, there are many employees who work in night shifts.

Work Schedules are Time Work Schedules.

Employees with night shifts are facing problems while applying leave.

a.      Given employee is supposed to work in night shift say 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Tuesday

And same employee is supposed to work in another night shift say 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Wednesday.

How to achieve this scenario?

b.     Given employee is supposed to work in night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Tuesday

And Next Day is a Public Holiday.

When employee is applying absence for Tuesday, system is not calculating Absence Duration as 12 Hours.
