Summary: Standard or sql method of understanding cashflow and its relation to income and expense?

Content (required): Are there any standard reports or custom sql that would facilitate getting a cashflow analysis and how its debits and credits in a month relate to the driving Income and Expenditure from I&E?

The reason for the question is that the client has a PBCS cashflow model, but they are struggling to understand their I&E patterns as they flow through to cash, so are looking to gain management information of bank movements apportioned to (I&E) nominal accounts.

Is this possible?
