Excluding Entity in CbCR

Summary: I essentially want CbCR automation by entity where I can disable a CbCR rule for an entity from populating in the CbCR.

Content (required): I have some entities that are not required for CbCR reporting purposes, however I still need the book data coming into the application. Currently with only Global rules, this data is then flowing to the CbCR. If I had Entity Rules, I could disable them. Is there a workaround I can use to achieve my goal? I can create hierarchies to exclude certain entities, but I am looking for other options. Has anyone else experienced this?
