Display Extended Absences by day from Absence Module

Summary:

We have a requirement to show absences by day if they are booked over a period of time.

Content (required):

The example we have is if someone books a week long absence in the absence module for 40 hours over 5 days. We would like to see the each day listed with 8 hours. I've tried bring in the date field, but it doesn't seem to be working.
