FCCS_Balance clarification required

Summary:

We have enabled FCCS_Balance in our FCCS application as it is required as part of our process. We have a few clarification questions on FCCS_Balance, see below:

Content (required):

  1. Is the FCCS_Balance member calculated at the base (or level zero) entity and then subsequently translates, consolidates etc. and then contribute to the parent entities or is it calculated at every entity (and hence currency/consolidation combination)?
  2. Do you foresee any issues with posting journals to FCCS_Balance or does Oracle advise not to post journals against FCCS_Balance?
